The melodrama cast
Ben Abbott (Guy) loves working at the Melodrama. A San Luis Obispo native, the Melodrama was Ben's first professional acting job 13 years ago in… Drac in the Saddle! Since then he's graduated from the PCPA Acting Conservatory, received a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies from UC Berkeley, and performed around the country. (Not to mention getting married and having two beautiful daughters.) Favorite theaters include Utah Shakespeare Festival, Pioneer Theatre Company, Hale Centre Theatre, Indiana Festival Theatre, and Cardinal Stage Company. Since moving back to the Central Coast he has performed at PCPA (Ezra Chater, Arcadia), SLO Rep (Daddy Warbucks, Annie; Sam Phillips, Million Dollar Quartet), and The Melodrama (Jack, Scary Poppins; The Holiday Extravaganza; Todd, Unnecessary Farce; Squire, Treasure Island).
Mike Fiore (Black Bart) is happy to be back cracking jokes and busting moves on the Melodrama stage this year. He just appeared in Pappa Pia and How the West Was Really Won. Also this year he was in Treasure Island and Unnecessary Farce and last year he was doing his thing in Lost in Yonkers, Annie, and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum all at SLO Rep. He sends love and thanks to his mom, his delightful co-workers, and also to all of you wonderful Melodrama patrons!
Annali Fuchs-Wackowski (Consuela) is absolutely thrilled to be back at the Melodrama!! You may have last seen her as Mrs. Meekly in Unnecessary Farce, Mrs. Fezziwig/ Rapunzel in the 2018 Holiday Extravaganza, and Jill in Scary Poppins. She has also been a proud company member at PCPA since 2014, adding favorite roles such as Katherine in Newsies, Belle in Beauty and the Beast, and Charlotte in Cinderella to the list! Other wonderful acting opportunities have occurred at theaters including Sierra Repertory Theatre, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, Hangar Theatre, and Cortland Repertory Theatre. Madison Kisst (Frances Farmer & Dr. Vania Helsingvinger) is originally from Escalon, California and is delighted to be joining the Melodrama team for the first time! Her most recent regional credits include multiple productions at the Lyric Repertory Company (Utah), Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Utah Shakespeare Festival, Santa Cruz Shakespeare Festival, Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, and the Nevada Conservatory Theatre. She is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas MFA Acting program and is so grateful to be laughing with you all by the beach!
Jocelyn Lonquist is thrilled to make her Melodrama debut! Jocelyn has performed across North America with the national touring companies of Anne of Green Gables, Charlie Brown Christmas, and A Christmas Carol, and favorite regional credits include Sister Act (Weathervane), She Loves Me (Myers Dinner Theatre), Young Frankenstein (Charleston Stage), West Side Story (White Plains Perf. Arts), Bright Star (Weathervane) and Kid Frankenstein (Off-Broadway). Originally from Pensacola, FL, Jocelyn is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL, and currently resides in New York City. Love to her family! Phil. 4:13

Toby Tropper (Uncle Norman Zinfandel, Hank and Sheriff Arnold Helsingvinger) is honored to be back in the Melodrama saddle... again! You may remember him from many appearances here over the years.
