Camp Melodrama was created to fulfill the requests of the community to provide wide-ranging instruction in theatre arts for young people. Now in its 25th year, Camp Melodrama has given exciting and creative summer experiences to hundreds of students as they learn about and create first-hand, the magic of live theatre. Camp Melodrama has the advantage of using working professionals in the area of theatre arts to bring real life experience to camp participants.
Camp days begin at 9am and end at 1pm. We ask that students bring a sack lunch and reusable water bottle each day. Our camp counselors will lead small groups through song, dance and acting activities at the theater and in our new rehearsal facility.
